The Plantagenet Dynasty was founded by Henry II, grandson of the late Henry I. He was the first king both of England and France. Under his reign he implemented many crucial reforms. The last of the Plantagenet kings was also the one who gave way to the Hundred Years’ war ending his dynasty. The Black Death and the political turmoil that ensued also caused the end of Feudalism and great changes in the society of the early 14th Century.
