I teach English Literature and I very much enjoy my field of work. I also enjoy writing about the topics I deal with in my class lessons, but writing in general is an activity that enriches me deeply as it allows me to stop and ponder on various issues taking due time to express my thoughts thoroughly and carefully. Blogging, then, gives me the opportunity to look at life, and not only literature or art, at a slower pace to drink in all its beauty.
Insegno inglese in un liceo linguistico e lo faccio con grande entusiasmo e piacere. Mi diverto anche a preparare dispense per i miei studenti, ma la scrittura in generale mi appassiona perché mi consente di riflettere su svariati argomenti prendendomi il tempo necessario per analizzarli ed esprimerli con cura. Tenere un blog, dunque, mi offre la possibilità di osservare la vita, e non solo la letteratura o l’arte in genere, con uno sguardo più attento per coglierne tutta la bellezza.
8 MARZO 2023: NE’ MIMOSE, SCHWA O AUGURI. SOLO RISPETTO DEI DIRITTI UMANI E DELLA PARITA’.
Bisogna ribadire e continuare a lottare per i diritti inalielabili per tutti affinché l’otto marzo diventi un giorno uguale a tutti gli altri, affinché non sia più necessaria una giornata internazionale delle donne.

AUTONOMIA DIFFERENZIATA A SCUOLA: UN DISASTRO ANNUNCIATO
La strategia è sempre la stessa, si tagliano i fondi e si aspetta che vada tutto in malora per addossare ogni responsabilità a chi opera nel settore preso di mira e da privatizzare. Avremmo dovuto imparare bene la lezione, non bisogna dare spago e rivendicare invece con fermezza un aumento dovuto, tardivo e a parità intatta e non modificata delle ore attualmente previste dal CCNL. I tremila euro al mese ci spettano già adesso ed è pure tardi.

La delegittimazione della classe docente è lo strumento grazie al quale il sistema di istruzione italiano può essere scardinato per negare alle generazioni future il sacrosanto diritto ad un’istruzione di qualità uguale per tutti.

A SUNRISE ON THE VELD – part 2
This project aims, first and foremost, to promote in students the pleasure of collective reading aloud. It is meant to help them appreciate the sounds of the language through learning the proper pronunciation and intonation of vocabulary that they are not accustomed to as well, at the same time, it is meant to help overcome the natural resistance towards the actual use of a foreign language thanks to the practice of acting out the narration, thus performing.
Another purpose pursued is that of analysing the structure of the sentence, observing grammar and literary uses, while concurrently pondering on the language itself by gathering insight on its different uses according to context and register employed. The textual analysis will also help them progressively advance in the necessary skills to interpret and comprehend contents as well as syntax.

I DATI SULL’ABBANDONO E LA DISPERSIONE SCOLASTICA CI DICONO CHE IN MAGGIORANZA SONO STUDENTI CON CITTADINANZA NON ITALIANA A LASCIARE LA SCUOLA SENZA AVER COMPLETATO IL PERCORSO DI STUDI. SENZA PRENDERE IN SERIA CONSIDERAZIONE LA CONDIZIONE DEGLI STUDENTI NON ITALOFONI NELLA SCUOLA ITALIANA IL PROBLEMA NON SARÀ MAI AFFRONTATO SERIAMENTE. PERTANTO, RESTERÀ IRRISOLTO.

RIGORE E SELEZIONE NELLA SCUOLA? ANCHE NO, GRAZIE!
La scuola della Costituzione italiana è inclusiva e non selettiva e a quella ci si dovrebbe ispirare sempre più pretendendo finalmente l’attuazione concreta della carta. La scuola deve favorire lo sviluppo dei suoi studenti.

“IL” o “LA” Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri?
L’argomento più dibattuto della settimana appena trascorsa è stato il modo in cui Giorgia Meloni, neopresidente del Consiglio dei ministri, ha scelto di farsi chiamare ufficialmente e tramite circolare di Palazzo Chigi. Inutile dire che questa ufficializzazione ha scatenato ilarità e satira sui social, di sicuro una circolare abbastanza fuori luogo e piuttosto ridicola. Insomma, non se ne sentiva proprio il bisogno. Ufficializzazione peraltro quasi subito soggetta a rettifica, in Italia c’è sempre qualche cretino che sbaglia ma di cui non si conosce mai il nome o il cognome.
